Hello, I am Ignacio Torres-Ulloa. I am a fourth-year PhD student in the Department of Economics at the University of Southern California.

My research studies the labor market implications of migration and finance, with a particular focus on business behavior, productivity, and mechanisms within the firm. I am also interested in immigration, the relationship between the state and civil servants, and broader questions in development economics, behavioral economics, causal inference, and philosophy of science.
